Microtrac SAA

Microtrac SAA - Surface Area Analyzer

The Microtrac SAA applies the well established gas adsorption method to determine the surface area of dry powders. As nitrogen gas is passed over the powder a monolayer of Nitrogen molecules is adsorbed onto the surface of the particles.  Through this Nitrogen Adsorption Method (Dynamic Flow) the Microtrac SAA system provides surface area measurement range down to 0.01m2/g (total surface area of sample / weight of sample).  Adsorbed nitrogen on sample surface is measured by dynamic chromatograph.

        Two Analysis Modes
o   Langmuir
o   Brunauer, Emmett, Teller (BET)
        Three Dynamic Flow Measurement Methods
o  Multi-Point - High Accuracy for Research
o Single-Point - High Accuracy & Speed for Production
o  Reference Comparison - High Speed for Quality Control
Four Sample Dewars improves processing efficiency
            o 4 different samples, or
            o 3 different samples + 1 reference sample
        Easy Operation
