Microtrac the global pioneer of particle characterization solutions will be showcasing several instruments routinely used by material science professionals at the 2014 Material Science and Technology Conference.  Held in downtown Pittsburgh, PA at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center, the conference runs from October 12th through the 16th.

MS&T 2014 is hosted by the partnership between the American Ceramic Society, AIST, ASM International, and TMS organizations and their goal is to bring together material science enthusiasts from around the world to share expertise in their perspective field.  This conference also allows technology providers to exhibit their product lines and network with attendees.

Located at booth 221, Microtrac will be showcasing the following particle analyzers:

Bluewave – The first laser diffraction particle size analyzer to use blue lasers for measuring size distributions of wet suspensions and dry powders, which provide a user with superior resolution, accuracy, and repeatability.  The Bluewave can measure particles ranging in size from 0.01 to 2000 microns and can be fitted with a variety of sample delivery devices.

Nanotrac Wave – Utilizing our patented Controlled Reference Method, The Nanotrac Wave uses advanced frequency analysis to provide operators with greater analysis capability especially when measuring multi-modal distributions.  The Nanotrac Wave can measure size, zeta potential, and molecular weight of particles ranging in size from 0.8 to 6500 nm. Featuring a teflon cell, cuvette cell, or external probe, the Nanotrac Wave can measure up to 40% material concentration with any sample introduction configuration.
