Microtrac Acquires AnaTec AS of Norway, a Dynamic Image Analysis Company!
Montgomeryville, PA – January 4, 2013 – Microtrac, Inc. a global pioneer of particle characterization technologies, is pleased to announce that it has acquired AnaTec AS of Norway, an innovator in dynamic image analysis instrumentation and software. The acquisition will bolster Microtrac’s already robust portfolio of sophisticated analytical laboratory instruments and enhance Microtrac’s mission to provide total solutions in particle characterization.
The purchase of AnaTec AS fits into Microtrac’s aggressive expansion strategies, and allows Microtrac to promote established, industry-preferred technology across its global distribution channels.

AnaTec AS was founded by Frode Reinholt and Terje Jorgensen in 2004.
