Microtrac, the global pioneer in particle characterization, will be exhibiting our industry preferred, dynamic light scattering product line at the 2013 AAPS National Biotech Conference.
The 2013 AAPS National Biotech Conference is taking place from May 20th to May 22nd, at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel and Marina located in beautiful San Diego, California. The conference is devoted to scientists who are developing methods to advance health through innovations in biotherapeutics.
For biotechnology applications, Microtrac has a wide range of measurement capabilities. A brief glance of the measurement capabilities include:
Particle Sizing via Dynamic Light Scattering. The Nanotrac Wave is a bench top unit that can measure the particle size distribution of materials ranging in size from 0.8 nanometers to 6500 nanometers. The Wave utilizes an innovative probe technology, and also uses an enhancement of Photon Correlation Spectroscopy, called the Controlled Reference Method, which is unique to Microtrac. The Wave can also measure Zeta Potential, and Molecular Weight.
Ask us about the Nanotrac Flex. Same particle sizing capability, slightly different appearance.
Particle Sizing via Laser Diffraction. The Microtrac Bluewave is a laser diffraction particle size analyzer that can measure from 10 nanometers all the way to 2800 microns. By using true blue laser diodes, the Bluewave has the capability to measure a wide range of particles.
Interested in evaluating these instruments? Microtrac can travel to your facility for a comprehensive demo, or you can send samples to our Applications Center for complimentary analysis.
